Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse, to join our Bank at Swimbridge House Nursing Home.

As a Registered Nurse you have responsibility for leading your shift and managing a team of carers to ensure we deliver excellent standards of care; promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lifes of individuals in our care, is essential.

We are particularly looking for a Bank Nurse for casual shifts, if and when needed.

While managing a team of carers and leading shifts, you will be doing the following:

Medication administration
Assessing residents care needs
Completing and evaluating care plans
Communicating with residents’ family and health professionals
Ensure the smooth running of the care home
Adhering to the NMC code of practice at all times

Qualifications:

Registered General Nurse and must hold a valid NMC Pin number.
At least one year of care home experience.
