Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the hotel. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment and provide excellent service to our clients. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard
Maintain a tidy and organised workspace at all times
Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and preferences
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Manage time effectively to complete scheduled cleaning within allocated timeframes
Use cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly and safely
Assist with additional tasks as required by management

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong customer service orientation with a professional attitude
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy nature
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
