Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences, possess a friendly demeanour, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy socialising.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the brasserie, function suite or the Half Way House.
Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Ensure all alcohol service complies with licensing laws and responsible serving policies
Replenish stock as needed, including glasses, garnishes, and beverages
Ensuring the function suite is set up ready for future events.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any queries or concerns
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Person/Skills

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable
Must be of Legal age to serve alcohol 18+
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities, adaptable and willing to learn.
Good basic maths skills for handling payments and transactions accurately
Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
Friendly personality, approachable, with excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude
Barista training is an advantage

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
