Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring a flawless and durable surface. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment. Prior experience with automotive painting and familiarity with spray equipment are highly desirable.

Duties

Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Operate spray guns and other power tools to apply primer, base coats, and clear coats with precision.
Mix paints and colours accurately according to specifications.
Perform quality checks on painted surfaces for smoothness, colour consistency, and finish quality.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with the maintenance and calibration of spray equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Experience

Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar automotive refinishing role is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting issues.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray guns is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials safely.
Familiarity with colour matching techniques and automotive paint systems is advantageous.
