Full job description

Salary: £18,200 – £26,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (some flexibility required)

About the Role

Hydrosphere Innovations Ltd is looking for a hands-on, practical, and reliable person to join our small and friendly team as a Service & Equipment Technician.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in a varied technical role. You’ll help to maintain and prepare equipment, manage stock and supplies, and support the day-to-day running of our water treatment equipment rental business.

Full training is provided – including safe use of tools, equipment servicing, and even forklift training if needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with servicing and preparing equipment (training provided)
Use and maintain hand tools and workshop machinery
Monitor and manage stock, tools, and consumables
Communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and drivers
Help meet team goals and deadlines
Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organised
Suggest ways to improve how we work

What We’re Looking For

Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work
Comfortable using tools or keen to learn
Reliable, organised, and detail-focused
Good communication and teamwork skills
Positive, problem-solving attitude
Able to carry out manual tasks, including some heavy lifting
Computer literate
Must have a full, clean UK driving licence (may be asked to drive a van or use pallet/forklift equipment)

Mechanical or electrical knowledge is helpful but not essential – training will be given.
