Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with potential clients, foster relationships and contribute to the growth of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and experience in B2B sales. Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish language skills considered a valuable asset. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their sales expertise within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach and market research
Conduct telemarketing campaigns to establish contact with prospective clients and nurture leads
Manage and update customer information using Salesforce and other CRM software systems
Develop customised sales pitches tailored to client needs, highlighting our products and services
Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional communication and support
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding our client base
Maintain detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress within CRM platforms
Attend industry events and networking functions as required to promote our brand

Skills

Proven experience in B2B sales or telemarketing roles
Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM software tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to reaching targets and overcoming challenges
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Eposxp (Eposxperts) is a fast-growing independent start-up. We are an EPOS and payment solutions consultancy based in Cardiff. We work with businesses across hospitality, retail and the wider SMB market to help them find the right point-of-sale and payment setup without the bias of representing a single brand. We partner with leading providers and our approach is consultant-first. We do the research, cut through the noise and help business owners make informed decisions.

The Role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join the Eposxp team. This is a phone-based outbound sales role focused on reaching small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. Your job is to start conversations, understand what a business currently uses and identify whether there's an opportunity for us to help.

You won't be reading from a script or pushing a product. You'll be representing a consultancy that genuinely helps businesses and that makes for much better conversations.

What You'll Do

Make outbound cold calls to SMB owners and decision-makers
Research prospects and tailor your approach before picking up the phone
Qualify leads by understanding a business's current POS and payment setup
Book discovery meetings and demos for the senior team
Maintain accurate records and activity logs in our CRM
Represent Eposxp professionally. our reputation is built one call at a time
