Hours

The role of Hygiene Operative:

Carrying out day-to-day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity
General pot washing, cleaning lines and machines to high company standards, and general waste management
Reviewing equipment and highlighting damage, escalating risks to appropriate personnel
Ensuring chemicals are used and stored correctly
Completing all paperwork accurately and submitting to the correct personnel
Following work instructions and highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator
Promoting a good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department
Identifying opportunities to make sustainable improvements to quality and performance

The ideal Hygiene Operative:

Good level of English — hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment is ideal
Attention to detail with a basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
Ability to work unsupervised
