Position Summary

As a Product Specialist at Legrand Care, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our carephones, alarm systems and IoT platforms. You help sales, customers and partners with everything from technical questions to product demonstrations and trainings. You also interact with the development teams to specify and prioritize product requirements.

This role is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background, a first successful experience in a customer-facing environment, and the ambition to grow their product expertise within an international organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical product support to the commercial teams, particularly in tender response processes
Work closely with development teams to communicate customer feedback, market needs and product improvement opportunities.
Support collaboration between development teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful product evolution and deployment.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations and training sessions for customers, partners and internal teams.
Collect and specify market and customer needs for the UK region
Prepare and validate product information to support Marketing in the creation of product launch collateral, brochures, and technical data sheets
Support the adaptation of our solutions to the customer's needs
Participate in local certification activities and interoperability tests
Coordinate and take part in local field tests and product tests
Coordinate and support product launches, including training campaigns
Contribute to internal and external stakeholder meetings regarding technical product capabilities
Monitor competitor activity and contribute to product benchmarking and market analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications or IoT.
Approximately 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a Product Specialist, Technical Support, Pre-Sales or similar technical customer-facing role.
Interest in connected products, digital solutions, IoT platforms or technical systems. Experience in care technology or alarm systems is a plus but not required.
Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with different stakeholders, such as Sales, Product, R&D or Marketing teams.
Comfortable delivering product demonstrations, presentations and training sessions to customers, partners or colleagues.
Strong customer focus with the ability to identify customer needs and contribute to product improvement discussions.
Interest in product testing, validation activities and technical problem-solving.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and build trust with different audiences.
Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn, with a passion for helping customers get the most value from technology.
Fluent English (written and spoken) required; French is a plus.
