Job Title: Corporate Receptionist/Host

Location: near Bishopsgate

Salary: £31,720per annum

Contract Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern: Shifts between 08:00 – 18:00

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus Bank Holidays (28).

About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and professional Corporate Receptionist/Host to join our team in the City of London. This is a highly visible and guest-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for employees, clients, and visitors. You’ll ensure a seamless experience from arrival to departure while maintaining a polished and welcoming lobby environment.

Please note: This is a physically active role that involves being on your feet for the majority of your shift. It is not suited for someone seeking a desk-based position.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist all visitors and occupants professionally and warmly.
Host the lobby, proactively directing guests before they reach the reception desk.
Maintain a pristine reception and lobby area and report any issues promptly.
Collaborate closely with building management and leasing teams to support operations.
Escort visitors to designated areas when required.
Assist with app-related queries following troubleshooting protocols.
Liaise with the security team and operate the viewing gallery system when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies.
Conduct regular checks on lobby and first-floor areas, reporting issues.
Respond to emails and inquiries efficiently and courteously.
Support other departments through cross-training when needed.

What We’re Looking For

Experience Required: 1–2 years in a similar front-of-house, hospitality, or customer service role.

Calm and composed under pressure
Familiarity with visitor management systems and basic IT troubleshooting
