We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of yoga practices and philosophies, along with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students of all levels. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about promoting physical and mental well-being through yoga.

Duties

Conduct engaging and safe yoga classes for individuals of varying skill levels, ensuring modifications are offered as needed.
Develop class plans that incorporate various styles of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa, or Yin, tailored to the needs of participants.
Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages students to explore their practice and achieve personal growth.
Provide guidance on proper alignment and techniques to enhance students' understanding and performance.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio space before and after classes.
Stay updated on industry trends, continuing education opportunities, and new teaching methodologies to enhance personal skills.
Build strong relationships with students, offering support and encouragement both in and out of class.

Skills

Strong knowledge of yoga principles, poses, and breathing techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly and effectively.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
Experience in teaching various styles of yoga is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and understanding towards students’ needs.
Certification from a recognised yoga teacher training programme is required.
