30–32 hours per week across 4 days | 2 Saturdays per month
£13.00–£14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Utopia Beauty & Advanced Skincare is an award-winning beauty and advanced skincare clinic in the heart of Hornchurch. We are proud of our exceptional client care, innovative treatments and welcoming, professional team. We are looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Senior Receptionist / Front of House Coordinator to become an important part of our salon. This is a key role within Utopia. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will help ensure every visit feels seamless, warm and professional from the moment they walk through the door.

The Role

Welcoming clients and delivering exceptional, five-star customer service
Managing a busy appointment diary, telephone calls, emails and online enquiries
Booking, confirming and rebooking appointments accurately
Maintaining client records, consultation forms and salon documentation
Taking payments and accurately managing client accounts, invoices, banking and PDQ reconciliation
Supporting memberships, vouchers, treatment promotions and retail sales
Ensuring the reception area and clinic always look immaculate, organised and welcoming
Opening and closing the salon
Communicating clearly and professionally with the salon team to support the smooth day-to-day running of the business
Helping clients choose and book the most suitable treatments, products and future appointments
Assisting with social media and salon communication where required

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally warm, calm, professional and able to remain organised in a busy environment. You will need to be:

Experienced in a similar receptionist, clinic, salon, spa, or beauty-counter reception role
Friendly, well-presented and confident speaking with clients both in person and over the phone
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable managing several tasks at once while maintaining a calm and professional manner
Reliable, punctual, proactive and able to use your own initiative
Experienced and confident with written English, grammar, email communication and computer systems
Discreet and professional, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and positive workplace boundaries
A genuine team player who is supportive, respectful and committed to high standards
Interested in the beauty, skincare and wellness industry

Experience with Phorest Salon Software booking system would be an advantage, although full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.
