About the Role
Due to continued growth, Clay & Co. Facilities Group is seeking a reliable, professional and motivated Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to support our cleaning teams across a number of school sites in Wiltshire.
This is a staff and client-facing role and an important part of our operational team. You will act as a key point of contact for both our clients and colleagues, helping to ensure our services are delivered safely, professionally and to the highest standards.
Professionalism is essential at all times. As a representative of Clay & Co. Facilities Group, you will be expected to communicate effectively, present yourself professionally, maintain confidentiality where required and build positive working relationships with clients, site staff and colleagues.
As one of our mobile supervisors, you will typically visit one or two sites each morning, supporting colleagues, carrying out quality inspections, delivering supplies where required and helping to ensure our services continue to run smoothly.
This is a hands-on role that combines supervision, quality monitoring, colleague support and occasional cleaning cover where required.
Working Hours
- Guaranteed 10 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 8:00am
- Primarily term-time working (approximately 40 weeks per year)
Additional hours will be available during school holiday periods, including one week of summer deep cleaning. Hours and working arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities
- Visiting one or two sites each morning to support cleaning operations
- Supporting, motivating and supervising cleaning colleagues
- Carrying out regular site inspections and quality audits
- Training and supporting colleagues to maintain consistent service standards
- Providing cleaning cover during staff absences where required
- Acting as a professional point of contact for clients and site representatives
- Responding to site issues and supporting colleagues as required
- Delivering cleaning products, consumables and equipment to sites when needed
- Identifying and reporting site issues that may impact service delivery
- Monitoring standards and implementing improvements where required
- Assisting with colleague inductions, compliance checks and ongoing training
- Reporting site updates, staffing issues and client feedback to management
- Ensuring company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements are followed
- Supporting deep cleaning projects during school holiday periods

Previous experience within commercial cleaning, facilities support or a supervisory role is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle
- Ability to travel between sites across Wiltshire
- Flexibility to provide additional cover when required
- Right to work in the UK
