The Marketing Executive will play a key role in developing and delivering MRC’s marketing activity across digital, brand, content, events, and client engagement.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is creative, organised, commercially aware, and confident in producing high-quality marketing work across a range of channels. The role requires someone who can take ownership of day-to-day marketing activity, support campaign planning, create engaging content, and help strengthen MRC’s profile within the legal, medical, insurance, and professional services sectors.
You will help ensure MRC’s marketing is consistent, professional, and aligned with the company’s growth plans, values, and reputation for innovation, quality, and excellent client service.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Create engaging, professional content for MRC’s digital platforms, including LinkedIn, website pages, email campaigns, blogs, news updates, and service-led content.
- Manage and maintain MRC’s social media presence, ensuring regular, relevant, and brand-consistent activity.
- Support the development of creative assets, including graphics, short videos, brochures, one-pagers, presentations, case studies, and campaign materials.
- Maintain and update website content to ensure information is accurate, current, and commercially effective.
- Support SEO activity by creating relevant content, improving website copy, and helping MRC increase visibility online.
- Assist with paid advertising campaigns where required, including content creation, campaign setup, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ensure all marketing activity reflects MRC’s tone of voice, brand standards, and professional reputation.
2. Campaign Planning, Brand & Service Promotion
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across MRC’s services.
- Help turn MRC’s service offering into clear, persuasive marketing messages for clients and prospects.
- Work with the Client Relationship Manager and wider team to identify key marketing priorities, campaign opportunities, and content themes.
- Create marketing materials that clearly communicate the benefits of MRC’s services to law firms, insurers, medical agencies, and other professional clients.
- Maintain consistency across all MRC brand communications, ensuring materials are accurate, polished, and aligned with the company’s values.
- Support internal communications where required, including company updates, staff announcements, and culture-led content.
3. Events, Conferences & Client Engagement
- Coordinate marketing materials for conferences, exhibitions, client meetings, webinars, CPD sessions, and networking events.
- Support the planning and delivery of MRC’s event presence, including stand materials, giveaways, printed collateral, presentations, and follow-up campaigns.
- Assist with post-event marketing activity, including lead follow-up content, social media posts, email campaigns, and CRM updates.
- Help identify opportunities for MRC to build stronger relationships with existing clients and engage new prospects.
- Support the creation of client-focused content that demonstrates MRC’s expertise, innovation, service quality, and value.
- Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to ensure marketing activity supports client retention and business growth.
4. Market Research, Reporting & Performance
- Carry out competitor research and market analysis to help MRC understand sector trends, client needs, and competitor positioning.
- Monitor marketing performance across channels, including social media engagement, website activity, campaign performance, and lead generation.
- Provide regular updates to the Managing Director on marketing activity, results, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain organised records of marketing activity, content plans, campaign schedules, and performance data.
- Support the development of marketing processes, templates, and reporting tools to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Use data and feedback to suggest improvements to future campaigns, messaging, and marketing activity.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing, content, communications, or design-focused role.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, professional, and engaging copy.
- A good eye for design, layout, branding, and presentation.
- Experience using Canva, Adobe, HubSpot, WordPress, or similar marketing and design tools.
- Confidence managing social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
- An understanding of SEO, website content, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, polished work.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A proactive, creative, and self-motivated approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
- An interest in professional services, legal services, healthcare, medical records, or technology-led service businesses.
Desirable:
- Marketing experience within the legal, healthcare, insurance, medical, or professional services sectors.
- Experience using HubSpot or another CRM/marketing platform.
- Experience creating videos, graphics, presentations, brochures, or campaign assets.
- Experience supporting events, conferences, or business development activity.
- A marketing qualification, degree, apprenticeship, or relevant professional training.
Salary & Benefits
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Salary dependent on experience (starting from £28,000 per annum).
