Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Trainee Site Manager, where you will develop foundational management skills and gain hands-on experience in overseeing office fit-out projects. This paid role offers a unique opportunity to learn the essentials of site supervision, project coordination, and team management within a dynamic environment. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the successful delivery of projects while building your expertise for future leadership roles.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating daily site activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project schedules
Support senior managers in supervising on-site teams, including subcontractors and labor personnel
Help monitor health and safety compliance, conducting site inspections and reporting any hazards or incidents
Contribute to the preparation and updating of project documentation, including progress reports and work logs
Learn to manage resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and manpower
Collect materials from suppliers, deliver between projects, manage deliveries, move and distribute around site

Requirements

Strong interest in construction management; future training opportunities
Hands-on, can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and safety awareness
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work under supervision while demonstrating initiative
