Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and maintaining kitchen safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the culinary arts and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment. Duties

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
Support chefs with cooking tasks as directed, ensuring timely and efficient meal production
Help with general kitchen organisation, including cleaning workstations and sanitising utensils to uphold food safety standards
Prepare ingredients and assist in plating dishes for service
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety regulations
Support serving staff during busy periods by providing timely assistance with meal delivery and customer requests
Follow all food safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene regulations is advantageous
Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is a plus
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety protocols, and serving procedures will be beneficial
