Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Management Accountant to work as part of the Gamma Business finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts

What will you be doing day-to-day?

Revenue reconciliation & analysis

o IFRS 15 accounting adjustments
o Management of credit note provisions

Details Cost of Sales analysis

o Monthly accruals reconciliations
o Reconciliation to revenue & margin report
o Working with the billing team to analyse costs on an ongoing basis
o Understanding the Gamma products to review costs at this level

Stock reconciliation - working with the procurement team to reconcile stock holdings at various sites & attending stock counts
Accounting for leases under IFRS 16
Capex analysis & forecasting
Preparation of month end journals for accruals & prepayments
Reconciliation of Contract Assets & Liabilities
Intercompany reconciliations & eliminations
Month end balance sheet reconciliations

What You’ll Need

Proven experience as a Management Accountant with a solid understanding of core financial processes
Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft D365
SQL experience preferable
Strong time management and task prioritisation skills to meet deadlines effectively
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both finance and non-finance
Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
Hands-on approach to day-to-day accounting activities
Qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Experience of UK GAAP and IFRS
