Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management, particularly within retail or sales environments. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team effectively, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing staff, organising workflows, flexible with working hours and maintaining organisational standards to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Lead and supervise team members to achieve departmental goals, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
Oversee daily operational activities, including merchandising, sales processes, and customer interactions.
Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor attendance to optimise productivity.
Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and professional development.
Maintain effective communication with staff and management through clear phone etiquette and organisational skills.
Monitor stock levels, organise merchandising displays, and ensure the store environment remains welcoming and well-presented.
Handle customer queries or complaints professionally, ensuring positive resolutions that uphold company standards.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Support administrative duties such as inventory management, documentation, and scheduling.

Requirements

Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams in retail or sales settings.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is preferred.
Proficiency in administrative tasks including report writing, stock control, and scheduling.
Good phone etiquette coupled with strong interpersonal skills for team coordination and customer service.
Time management skills essential for overseeing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Previous experience in a supervisory role demonstrating leadership capabilities and organisational competence is desirable.
