Rentokil Initial Credit Controller

We are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office. If you have previous experience working in a collections environment and can support enhancing the credit control function, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maximising the collection of debt, while ensuring that the debtor days are reduced in line with company targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt management and collection of customer accounts
Responsibility for your section of the ledger
Achieving agreed collection targets
Providing reports on the performance of accounts
Controlling and monitoring the daily debt
Monitoring cash allocation and proposing corrective action on allocated accounts where needed
Escalating serious issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager
Providing an excellent level of customer service
Resolving all business queries within agreed timeframes
Ad hoc administration duties

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years experience within a collections environment

ICM qualification would be advantageous
Ability to initiate and facilitate continuous improvements
Work to strict timeframes
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Pivot tables
Understanding of audit controls
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Good organisation skills
