Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head/sous to lead our team providing quality fresh meals in a small bistro.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize productivity.
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards while incorporating current culinary trends.
Uphold strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster professional growth and teamwork.
Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced food production or restaurant environment.
culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management, motivation, and conflict resolution.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of menu development, food presentation, and serving best practices.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
