Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals, with experience in kitchen contracts The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Duties

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary before plastering.
Mixing plaster to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers.
Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with trowels and hawks, ensuring smooth and even finishes.
Utilising various tools such as hand tools, power tools, and specialised masonry equipment to complete work efficiently.
Repairing or restoring existing plasterwork, including patching holes or cracks.
Collaborating with electricians, and joiners. other tradespeople to ensure seamless results and time frames being met.

Requirements

Proven experience in plastering.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in finishing work.
Good physical fitness to handle lifting, standing for extended periods.
A valid UK driving licence is desirable for site access across multiple locations. This role offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship is valued and professional growth is encouraged for dedicated individuals eager to excel in the building industry.
