Job Summary
DDG are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion in Kent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in civil engineering and project management tools. The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and resources.
Utilise Primavera P6 for detailed project scheduling, tracking progress, and updating timelines as necessary.
Employ Civil 3D software for site design review, topographical analysis, and layout planning.
Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
Manage project documentation including reports, permits, and safety records.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues or hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders to ensure clarity of objectives and expectations.
Maintain strict adherence to health & safety protocols to safeguard personnel and minimise risks on-site.
Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients, highlighting milestones achieved and any delays or challenges encountered.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential for project scheduling and resource management.
Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D for site design and topographical analysis is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively through robust time management.
Demonstrated leadership ability to manage diverse teams on-site efficiently.
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for site visits across multiple locations. This position offers a dynamic environment where organisational excellence and technical expertise are valued highly.
