A home, not just a service

Gloucestershire House is a residential service with nursing support in Cheltenham, and home for up to 30 disabled adults. Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours

23.5 hours per week.
You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota

Shifts:

Flexibility required to cover the following shifts:

Earlies: 7:30am - 1:30pn

Lates: 1:30pm - 7:30pm

Long Days: 7:30am - 7:30pm

including alternate weekend working patterns

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.

What you’ll do

Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
Keep clear, accurate records
Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

No previous care experience? No problem – we’ll give you all the training you need.

We provide specialist support across residential care, supported living, and respite services for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities.
