At Goldsborough Primary School, we offer a vibrant and inspiring curriculum set within a beautiful village location near Wetherby. As part of the Nidd Wharfe Federation, our dedicated and forward-thinking team works relentlessly to ensure that every child receives an exceptional education, alongside carefully tailored support to meet SEMH and SEND needs.
Our ethos centres on enabling children to become the very best version of themselves by developing the personal characteristics essential for lifelong success. We firmly believe that by prioritising these foundations first, children gain the confidence, resilience and independence to flourish and truly shine.
Working with children is the most rewarding job in the world, and as a school we actively empower all staff to lead impactful interventions and develop innovative, engaging projects across both schools within our federation.
Our children have only one opportunity to experience their primary education. In challenging times for the sector, we are driven by passion, purpose and ambition to ensure learning remains inspiring, meaningful and engaging for every pupil. Collaboration lies at the heart of everything we do, underpinned by a strong commitment to the well-being and development of all.
Our Opportunity
We are expanding our team. We recognise that an exceptional Teaching Assistant plays a pivotal role in shaping a child’s learning journey and long-term success. With tailored support from proactive colleagues and forward-thinking leaders, we will invest in your professional development - equipping you with the skills, confidence and experience to thrive within our unique federation. In return, we are looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and commitment, alongside a genuine love of learning, strong initiative and pride in their role - someone who embraces opportunities and creates those powerful ‘lightbulb’ moments for children.
We are looking for:
- A skilled professional with a dynamic, engaging and proactive approach to leading interventions
- A Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of SEND and SEMH, and the complex, evolving needs within any cohort
- Someone with the drive, resilience and ambition to ensure all children achieve their very best, promoting excellence within the class and Key Stage, while contributing expertise across the federation
- A proactive individual with the confidence and determination to support and lead positive change so that all children succeed
- A Teaching Assistant with a passion for primary education who embraces both the rewards and challenges of supporting a mixed-age class
- A Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion and commitment to SEND provision
- A dynamic and proactive individual with a love of personal development and a commitment to their own continuous learning, who embraces change and growth for the benefit of all children
- A staff member committed to the longevity of the role, ensuring consistency and stability for children
A reflective practitioner who notices children, responds thoughtfully and contributes ideas, improvements and meaningful interventions
-
We can offer you:
- A warm, welcoming and inclusive school where every child and the wider community are valued
- Happy, enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils who are eager and motivated to learn
- The opportunity to work within a collaborative federation alongside skilled, like-minded professionals
