About Daisy Day Nursery:

We are looking for childcare practitioner at our Llanishen nursery, who are friendly, confident and always willing to go the extra mile.

We can support the successful candidate with undertaking a qualification.

Successful candidates can work between 27 and 37 hours (3-4 days).

Established in 2004, Daisy Day Nursery has grown from one 54-place nursery to three fantastic settings registered for 116 (Llanishen), 75 (Barry) and 96 (Barry wraparound and holiday care) children, offering the best environments for children to grow and learn.

£12.88 ROP (non-qualified rate; increases with level of qualification)

Requirements:

MINIMUM CCPLD L2 (or equivalent) qualification.
1 year experience in an early years setting.
Flexible and reliable with a “can do, will do” approach to your work – cheerful and enthusiastic.
Good organisational skills.
Able to do your job to a high standard with little supervision or intervention from management.
Friendly and welcoming approach to parents, colleagues and children.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all the children’s physical, emotional and developmental needs are met.
Identify and accurately record children’s developmental progress.
Carry out effective activity planning in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age and individual ability.
Maintain safe and clean surroundings at all times and follow health and safety and fire procedures.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-39 per week
