Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a flair for creating delicious goods. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, specials while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role requires excellent team management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of food according to established recipes and standards.
Adhere to safety protocols.
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that align with customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sanitised.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted production.
Collaborate with other team members to create an enjoyable dining experience for guests through exceptional food quality and presentation.

Requirements

Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role within the culinary field.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both food presentation and kitchen cleanliness.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as required by the business needs.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential; practical experience is highly valued.
