Food & Beverage Assistant (Evening Shifts)

DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway Hotel

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20–40 hours per week, primarily on evening shifts.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering excellent service to our guests within our hotel bar and food service areas. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming guests and providing professional, friendly service.
Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Serving beverages and food within the bar and lounge areas.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar and guest areas.
Clearing and resetting tables.
Assisting with the preparation and setup of service areas.
Handling guest enquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
Working as part of a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
A professional and well-presented approach.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Previous experience in hospitality, bar work, or food service is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
