Are you a creative and passionate Art teacher looking to inspire the next generation of artists? Ousedale School is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Art to join our vibrant and supportive team. As a Teacher of Art, you will deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that encourage students to explore a wide range of artistic techniques, media and styles. You will nurture creativity, confidence and self-expression, helping students to develop their artistic skills and appreciation of the visual arts.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Art lessons across relevant key stages
Inspire creativity, self-expression and experimentation through a range of artistic media and techniques
Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Support students of all abilities, including those with additional needs, to achieve their potential
Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Art curriculum

Pay range:

M1 - M6 - £32,916.00 - £45,352.00
32.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status
Strong knowledge of Art practices, techniques and art history
Creativity and imagination in lesson planning and delivery
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Effective assessment and feedback skills to promote progress
