We need someone ready to coach working professionals through applied AI, helping them build real capability in the tools and thinking reshaping their industries.
WHO WE ARE
Apprentify Group is a portfolio of six companies, each with its own culture, personality and people. Across the group we support around 10,000 learners a year, and we're scaling fast, including a growing AI delivery function that needs people who can hit the ground running from day one.
We need someone who can turn AI adoption from theory into real workplace capability, helping learners build the confidence and commercial instinct to apply AI responsibly and effectively in their actual jobs.
THE QUICK FACTS
Location: Remote-first, UK. Occasional travel for events and onboarding.
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start: Immediate or near-term
DBS check required for all candidates
Programmes: Level 3 (AI Practitioner) & Level 4 (AI & Automation)
LIFE IN THE ROLE
Forget the long list of duties. Here's what your days actually look like.
The real work: Most of your time is spent coaching apprentices through the practical application of AI tools in their actual jobs and managing the documentation that keeps the programme compliant and on track. A learner goes off-script. A business changes direction. A tool updates overnight. It moves fast, sometimes gets messy, but it's never boring.
The environment: We work remote-first. You won't be micromanaged, but you will be expected to own your learners' progress from day one. Apprentify is a scale-up; processes are still being built and things evolve quickly. The people who thrive here see that as an opportunity, not a problem.
TEAM & CULTURE
You'll join the Delivery team, specialists who care deeply about learner outcomes, aren't afraid to flag what isn't working, and move quickly when something needs to change.
Reports to: Performance Manager – Delivery
What we value:
THE HONEST HARD BIT The admin load is real. Ofsted-regulated delivery requires thorough documentation. If you understand governance and can build it into your rhythm, you'll be fine. If you need to be persuaded that paperwork matters, this probably isn't the right fit.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
You fix problems without being asked
You have genuine coaching, mentoring or facilitation experience, formal or informal
You've used AI tools in a real work context and can talk about it credibly
You can make technical concepts land for non-technical people
You're comfortable operating in a startup environment, ambiguity included
This is NOT for you if:
✘ You need a step-by-step guide for every task
✘ You prefer slow, predictable work
✘ Your AI experience is theoretical only
✘ You see documentation as someone else's problem
✘ You need a fully structured corporate environment to do your best work
WHAT YOU BRING
Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot or similar) in a real business context, not just personal experimentation

The ability to translate AI adoption into practical, workplace-ready actions for non-technical learners
Confidence managing documentation, compliance and progress tracking alongside your coaching caseload
Comfort using digital learning platforms day to day
Nice to have: experience delivering apprenticeships, familiarity with prompt engineering or automation tools, understanding of Ofsted/ESFA expectations, relevant certifications (BCS AI Foundation, Microsoft AI, Google AI).
