Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Technician to join our team working a regular night shift, Sunday to Thursday, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment across our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical maintenance, leadership, and customer service to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation. Candidates should possess a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
Diagnose faults using schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programmes.
Repair or replace faulty components, including wiring, motors, sensors, and control panels.
Read and interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing operational issues promptly and efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting.
Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
Solid understanding of mechanical systems alongside electrical expertise.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Prior experience delivering high-quality customer service in a technical setting is advantageous. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals eager to apply their technical expertise within a dynamic environment while contributing to organisational success through proactive maintenance practices.

Pay: £48,500.00 per year
