Part-Time | Set Days | Paid Hourly

We are looking for a reliable, confident and organised person to join our decorating company in an Admin & Sales Representative role.

This is a varied position, ideal for someone who is good with people, confident speaking to clients, organised with information and comfortable using a phone/tablet and Google Drive.

The Role

You will represent our company when attending site meetings with potential and existing clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Attending scheduled site meetings and meeting clients on behalf of the company
Presenting our company in a professional and friendly manner
Speaking with clients about their decorating requirements
Understanding what work the client is looking for and gathering all relevant information
Taking photos and videos of the property and areas requiring work
Measuring or recording useful information where required
Asking the right questions to understand the client's expectations
Gathering information about colours, finishes, materials and any specific requirements
Keeping clear and accurate notes during site visits
Returning to the office/home and writing up the information clearly
Uploading photos, videos, notes and other information into Google Drive
Making sure all information is organised so the decorating team can easily access it
Following up on any missing information where necessary
Helping us present a professional image to potential customers

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need previous decorating experience, but you must be confident dealing with people and have excellent attention to detail.

The ideal person will be:

Friendly, professional and approachable
Confident speaking to homeowners and clients
Well organised and reliable
A good communicator
Comfortable using a smartphone to take photos and videos
Comfortable using Google Drive and basic computer/admin systems
Able to listen carefully and record information accurately
Presentable and professional when representing the company
Able to work independently
Ideally have a full UK driving licence and access to transport

Working Hours

Set working days each week, with hours arranged around scheduled site meetings.

Paid by the hour.

The role will involve travelling to different client properties, so a willingness to travel locally is essential.

This could suit someone with experience in:

We're particularly interested in someone who can build a good rapport with clients, ask the right questions and come back with clear, useful information.

You will be representing our company directly, so professionalism and reliability are extremely important.
