Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist/Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting clinical operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly and organised environment, contributing to the smooth running of our dental services.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Manage appointment scheduling and patient records efficiently
Assist the dental team during procedures as required, including basic clinical support
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, processing payments, and maintaining patient files
Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean clinical environment
Support inventory management by ordering supplies as needed

Skills

Previous Receptionist experience in dental setting is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and using dental practice management software
Knowledge of basic clinical procedures is advantageous but not essential
Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate a professional attitude at all times
A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist patients and team members
