Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Casual Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The position for Casual Hotel Receptionist comes with a zero-hour contract to cover extra shifts in busy periods, holidays, sickness, maternity leave, etc. Ideal for professionals that are not looking for a tight working schedule!

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly welcome.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and inviting.
Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
Process reservations and cancellations using the hotel management system.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest services.
Proficiency in phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for interacting with diverse guests.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
