OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Clove Preservations Ltd
Location: Gerrards Cross
Job type: Full-time
Salary: £35000 per year
Working hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

About Clove Preservations

Clove Preservations is a growing damp-proofing and property-renovation company committed to quality workmanship, excellent customer service and efficient project delivery.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations & Administration Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations, support our field teams and ensure projects run smoothly from booking through to completion.

The role

You will be responsible for managing the company diary and completing essential administrative duties. You will act as the main link between customers, surveyors, tradespeople, suppliers and management.

Key responsibilities

Manage the company diary and schedule surveys, projects and follow-up visits
Confirm appointments and keep customers updated
Monitor each project from booking through to completion
invoices and payment reminders
Track deposits, stage payments and outstanding balances
Check staff and subcontractor invoices against job sheets
Maintain accurate customer, project and payment records
Respond professionally to telephone calls, emails and customer enquiries
Handle changes, delays and site issues efficiently
Ensure project paperwork, photographs and warranties are completed
Support management with reporting and general business administration
Help improve internal systems and operational processes

The ideal candidate

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing several projects and priorities at once
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional and confident when dealing with customers
Comfortable following up on payments and resolving queries
Able to work independently and take responsibility
Experienced with email, spreadsheets, calendars and CRM systems
Calm and solutions-focused when plans change
Previous experience in operations, construction, property maintenance or trade administration is preferred
Experience with HighLevel, Stripe, Google Workspace or similar systems would be beneficial
