Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for early years education and the business acumen to run a thriving childcare setting?

Edgbaston Day Nursery is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and highly organized Day Nursery Manager to lead our passionate team. Situated in the beautiful area of Edgbaston, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. We need a manager who shares that vision and is ready to drive our nursery to new heights.

What You'll Do:

As our Nursery Manager, you will hold the keys to the nursery's success. Your time will be split between inspiring your team, maintaining flawless regulatory standards, and driving the business forward.

Lead & Inspire: Recruit, mentor, and motivate a team of early years practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Ensure Excellence: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensure total compliance with Ofsted guidelines, health and safety regulations, and child protection laws.

Drive Growth: Manage the nursery budget, optimize staff ratios, and implement local marketing strategies to maximize child enrollment and occupancy in the Edgbaston area.

Build Partnerships: Create strong, trusting relationships with parents, keeping them closely connected to their child's learning journey.

What We Are Looking For:

Because we want to reward the right person correctly, our salary package is fully negotiable and will directly reflect your years of expertise and track record. We are looking for:

A minimum of a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Childcare (or a BA Degree in Early Childhood Studies).

Proven experience in a leadership role within a day nursery setting (Managerial or strong Deputy Manager level).

Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and strict safeguarding protocols.

Strong financial literacy with experience managing room ratios, budgets, and nursery management software.

A warm, approachable personality combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
