Full job description

Working as part of an established team, to assist our patients both face to face and but predominantly over the phone.

A kind, caring and empathetic person with a wish to help people, is ideal for this role, you will love to speak to people and have a level of resilience as call volumes are high. The role is varied, interesting and challenging.

Using a variety of systems to quickly find information and offer solutions to our patients. The role will involve accessing patient information, arranging appointments, giving permitted information to patients over the phone, sign posting to other services and giving excellent customer service.

Sympathy and empathy are a key part of the role as our patients are not at their best when they contact us for help, you will be a polite and professional person who can ask sensitive questions in the right way and respect people's privacy.

We offer full on-going training to use the and understand the systems we use day to day, understanding the other services on offer and being confident to sign post our patients to the best service to meet their needs quickly and appropriately. The role requires a high level of knowledge and training, we offer a two week intensive induction and on-going support to ensure new members of the team are confident and competent in the their duties

Hill Brow Partnership consists of Hill Brow Surgery and Rotherham Road Surgery, the role is based at Rotherham Road Surgery, however we do require all staff to be flexible to work at either site to meet the needs of the business and our patients.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
