Full job description

Golf Retail & Simulator Assistant

Location: Golf Gear Goods, 19–20 Lancaster Fields, Crewe

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Hours: Part-Time

Primarily afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Typical shifts will start from approximately 2pm onwards, with weekend availability essential.

About Us

Golf Gear Goods is an independent golf retail store and Trackman simulator venue based in Crewe.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in golf to help run the day-to-day operation of the shop and simulator during afternoons, evenings and weekends.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being around golf, helping customers and working within a growing golf business.

The Role

You will be responsible for helping manage the golf shop and simulator facility while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

Welcoming customers into the shop and simulator venue
Managing simulator bookings and customer check-ins
Operating the till and handling customer purchases
Providing assistance and advice on golf products
Maintaining high standards throughout the shop and simulator area
Keeping stock organised and assisting with stock control
Packing and dispatching online orders
Opening and closing the premises when required
General day-to-day support of the business

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have a genuine interest in golf
Have some knowledge of golf equipment and brands
Be confident speaking to customers
Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual
Be organised and able to work independently
Take pride in maintaining a clean and professional environment
Be comfortable using basic computer systems and tills

Previous retail or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
