Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation, seeking to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for our clients. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is preferred, but full training will be provided for motivated applicants. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces including offices, retail outlets, and industrial facilities
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Adhere to client-specific cleaning schedules and instructions to meet their expectations
Ensure all areas are left tidy, organised, and presentable after each shift
Dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with environmental policies

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided to suitable candidates
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and punctuality
