Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, supporting meal preparation and food service for a variety of events and customers. The successful candidate will be passionate about food, committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, and eager to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support catering services by preparing and organising food items for events
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
Support other kitchen staff with various tasks as required during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and general kitchen operations is advantageous
Experience in food presentation and serving is beneficial but not mandatory
A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
