Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Tradesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of trade skills, including carpentry, roofing and construction. Plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical experience, and fabrication would be advantageous. This role involves undertaking diverse maintenance and construction projects across various sites, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The successful applicant will be an adaptable professional capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.

Duties

Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, door and window installation, and repairs
Conduct roofing works including repairs, replacements, and waterproofing
Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with specifications
Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
Fabricate custom components or structures as required for projects
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience across multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to various trades
Strong knowledge of health & safety protocols in construction environments
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are desirable but not essential if extensive experience is demonstrated
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented multi-skilled tradesperson eager to contribute their expertise across diverse projects. We value professionalism, safety consciousness, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. As this is a self-employed position, CIS deductions will be made upon producing your weekly invoice.

Pay: £200.00-£260.00 per day
