Key Responsibilities

As one of the faces of the Smmmile brand, you will:

Deliver an exceptional five-star patient experience at every stage of the patient journey.
Provide outstanding telephone and call handling standards, ensuring every call is answered professionally, warmly and confidently.
Convert enquiries into consultations through exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, enthusiasm and professionalism.
Manage appointment diaries efficiently to maximise the patient journey and clinician time.
Support clinicians and the wider practice team throughout the day.
Manage patient enquiries via telephone, email and digital platforms.
Accurately maintain patient records and administrative systems.
Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and practice procedures.
Support treatment journey administration and patient follow-up.
Assist with social media content and practice marketing initiatives where appropriate.
Maintain a beautiful, organised and welcoming reception environment.
Work collaboratively to achieve practice performance and patient satisfaction goals.
Embrace new technology, AI systems and innovative ways of working.
Take ownership of problems, resolve patient queries and always look for opportunities to exceed expectations.

Skills and Expereince

Exceptional telephone etiquette with impeccable call handling and outstanding attention to detail.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong IT skills with confidence using modern technology.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
A professional, positive and solutions-focused attitude.

Desirable

Previous experience within a dental practice.
Dental Nurse registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) would be highly desirable.
Experience within hospitality, luxury retail, private healthcare, aesthetics or premium customer service environments.
Experience working with patient management systems and appointment scheduling.
