Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef(Italian pizza) to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, catering, and kitchen experience, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills whilst contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. The Pizza Chef will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving delicious pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
Assist in meal preparation and food presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Support the team in catering events and large orders as required.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Serve customers directly when needed, providing excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction.
Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Experience with meal preparation, food presentation, and culinary techniques specific to pizza making.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food preparation tools, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Previous experience in serving customers is advantageous but not essential.
A positive attitude with a passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring chefs or experienced cooks looking to specialise further in pizza cuisine while working within a dynamic team environment.
