Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods , ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. T

hisrole offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our operational needs with professionalism and efficiency.

The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills and be capable of handling heavy lifting when necessary.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and delivery vans, in accordance with road safety regulations
Deliver goods to various locations promptly and efficiently, maintaining accurate delivery records
Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy or bulky goods, requiring physical strength and proper lifting techniques
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience as a driver, preferably with commercial driving or delivery experience
Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Reliable, punctual, and organised with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

This role is vital to our operations, requiring a dedicated individual committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.

Pay: £125.00 per day
