Full job description

Soccer Sensations Teesside are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our vibrant team as a Duty Manager/Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a dedication to creating an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities for this person would be as follows:

- To: Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver top-notch service to our customers.
- To: Supervise and assist in daily operations to ensure smooth running of the Club and facilities and to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

- To: Assist in all manner of operational tasks daily from cash handling, cleaning facilities through to serving food and beverages in our Café Bar facilities.
- To: Assist with staff training and development, fostering a positive work environment.

- To: Manage bookings, coordinate games and oversee our hugely popular kids football party bookings.
- To: Address customer enquiries face-to-face and resolve any issues promptly and professionally that may arise.

- To: Promote a welcoming, friendly atmosphere to enhance the overall experience for our players and visitors.
- To: Encourage and implement new ideas to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Essential and Preferred requirements for this role are:

- Essential: Good leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
- Essential: Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Essential: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Essential: A passion for providing excellent customer service.

- Preferred but not essential: Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within a similar leisure setting.

All training for this role is provided in-house with further opportunity for external qualifications available for the right candidate.

The Hours of Work & Wage for the role:

The ideal candidate will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week with additional hours available in accordance with the needs of the business (Up to 44 hours per week). The shifts will range from weekday shifts and weeknight twilight shifts (typically around 4pm till 10pm), and weekend daytime or evening shifts (for example, 8am till 4pm or 4pm till 10pm). Shift patterns and further discussions around availability will be discussed with candidates at the interview stage of the recruitment process as they can be flexibility around .

The starting wage/salary for this position is to be discussed at the interview stage of the recruitment process as this will be offered around the suitability of the candidate with regards relevant experience for the role. The role will pay above the current national minimum wage for the appropriate age. Role related pay increases will also be discussed and a performance related bonus scheme.
