Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a diligent Egg Packer to join our busy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing eggs, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting warehouse operations.

Duties

Carefully pack eggs following specified procedures to prevent damage during transit
Handle materials and products with care, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking deliveries and preparing orders for dispatch
Perform picking and packing tasks efficiently to meet daily targets
Organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation
Conduct quality control checks on packed eggs to ensure compliance with safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the packing area, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management, stock handling, or related roles is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading activities
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in packing and quality control processes
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks effectively
Previous experience in picking & packing, stocking, or similar roles within a warehouse environment is preferred

Additional Job details

Probation period of 3 months
Start time of 6am
Minimum of 10 hours a week but this is more likely to be closer to the maximum of 25 hours most weeks.
