We’re now looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team based on the Tata Steel site in Port Talbot. If you take pride in your work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and value safety and service, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a key part of our Site Services operation, you’ll be responsible for:

Safely loading, securing, and transporting materials across site
Working proactively and efficiently to meet operational needs
Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
Delivering a reliable, customer-focused service at all times

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a professional driver who is:

Safety-focused – committed to maintaining a safe working environment
Customer-driven – delivering a positive, can-do attitude every day
Experienced – confident working in a haulage environment with strong load security knowledge
Reliable & self-motivated – able to follow instructions and work independently

Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (or site licence with experience)
Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience
Maximum of 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes)

Package & Benefits

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
2 × 12-hour day shifts
2 × 12-hour night shifts
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (no breaks deducted)
Weekly Average Pay: £630.00
20 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank holidays
Company pension (auto-enrolment)
Full uniform & PPE provided

Additional Information

Full induction provided
Pre-employment checks include drug & alcohol testing and licence checks
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: On-site / in person
