Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and support within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess skills relevant to pharmacy operations, including medication administration and pharmacy technician experience. As a Counter Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
Provide information on medications and health products as required.
Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a qualified professional.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area.
Handle customer payments and manage cash transactions responsibly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Stay informed about new products, services, and promotions to effectively assist customers.

Experience

Previous experience in patient care or as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration processes is an advantage.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive attitude towards learning and development within the role.
