House Keeper – Job description

To ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness is followed at all times, to maintain a clean and tidy Nursery setting.
Ensure nursery is swept, moped and hovered daily.
Ensure toilets are cleaned daily.
Ensure reception area is consistently clean and tidy.
To ensure the correct cleaning materials are used where required.
Ensure cleaning material is labelled correctly.
Ensure the exterior of the nursery is kept clean and tidy daily.
Cleaning of nursery windows inside and out.
Clearance of weeds and waste from the garden and exterior of the nursery.
Hose down and sweep nursery garden.
Ensure Buggy storage is swept.
To liaise with rooms to gather all washing on a daily basis.
To Wash and dry all laundry as and when required by staff.
To work alongside kitchen staff to maintain a clean tidy kitchen.
Keep control of cleaning stock within the nursery.
Keep all areas stocked with required materials i.e. toilet rolls, soap.
Keep an accurate cleaning log.
Emptying bins on a daily basis.
To maintain policies and procedures within the setting.
To follow additional reasonable requests from management.

Personal conduct

To present a clean appearance at all times,
A change of outdoor shoes to be worn while on the premises.
To ensure you wear the correct uniform supplied to you.
To establish and maintain, good working relationships with all parents and staff members,
To maintain and respect confidentiality at all times.

Working hours 6pm - 10pm Mon- Fri

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
