Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced IRATA Level 1 & 2 Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting industrial rope access operations safely and efficiently across various sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, technical proficiency, and the ability to work at heights in challenging environments. The position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians to contribute to high-profile projects within a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Perform rope access inspections, maintenance, and repair tasks in accordance with IRATA standards.
Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to commencing work at height.
Set up and dismantle rope access systems, ensuring all equipment is correctly secured and compliant with safety regulations.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during operations.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and safety documentation.
Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Collaborate with team members and site managers to ensure project deadlines are met safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Valid IRATA Level 1 or Level 2 certification with proven experience in industrial rope access.
CSCS safety Card
High-risk Confined Space (preferable)
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working at heights and confined spaces.
Good physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments, often at significant heights.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under supervision.
Relevant technical qualifications or experience in maintenance, inspection, or construction industries are desirable but not essential.
A proactive attitude towards health and safety compliance is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 5 weeks

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 84.0 per week

Work Location: Remote
