Full job description

Sheldon Clayton Logistics are looking to expand our Offshore team, and are looking for an export operative specialising in goods Northern Ireland. This position will be based at our Head Office in West Bromwich and be amongst a friendly offshore team.

The position is paid and requires a proactive approach to multitasking within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Sheldon Clayton Logistics are looking to expand our Offshore team, and are looking for an export operative specialising in goods Northern Ireland. This position will be based at our Head Office in West Bromwich and be amongst a friendly offshore team.

Arrange collections with the in-house UK Transport & Sub-contractors.

Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods from one location to another.

Consolidate and maximise loads to each destination to reduce costs.

Ensure that consignments are both collected and delivered on time

Deal with customer enquiries.

Develop and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers (existing and new).

Calculate weight, volume, or cost of goods to be moved.

Regularly monitor and analyse revenue, costs and volume.

Produce profit margin reports for each trailer.

Prior experience would be preferred for the role, including work in transport or logistics environments. The position is for immediate start.

0900 - 1700hrs

28 days holiday (including Stats)
