Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation are maintained at all times. Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs to ensure timely service
Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen according to food safety standards
Prepare ingredients and components for dishes, including chopping, peeling, and portioning
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Contribute to maintaining stock levels and assist with inventory management
Support the team during busy service periods by serving dishes and attending to customer needs when required
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities

Skills

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and cooking techniques
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
Supervising experience or leadership qualities that support team management when needed
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and hospitality standards
Enthusiasm for learning new skills and advancing within the culinary industry
